ABOUT US

As a non-profit group, CAWT (Crooks Area Working Together), is dedicated to supporting community organizations and creating enjoyable events in Crooks.

We put the “fun” in fundraising with our crowd-favorite Ladies Night Quarter Auction, Family Bingo & Bites Night, 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk, Super Bowl Squares, and a variety of other initiatives.

With the generous support of community businesses and volunteers, we give back through the coordination of several annual events in Crooks such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Scavenger Hunt, Santa Day, and Crooks Community Days.

We also partner with the Tri-Valley School District to provide funds for educational programs such as end-of-school parties, student improvement awards, academic letters, and college scholarships for graduating seniors. Conversely, various groups such as National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America also help at several of our events showing leadership and modeling volunteerism in the community.

As a community, we've done many great things since our inception in 2009 and we welcome any new members to keep these traditions alive. Meetings are the first or second Sunday evening of every month from August - May.
